Tennis: Becker had sex in cupboard 'because of Wimbledon defeat'

Boris Becker says he had sex in a restaurant broom cupboard because he lost at Wimbledon.

After Pat Rafter defeated him in 1999, Becker went on a bender in Mayfair and met Russian model Angela Ermakowa.

Becker and Ermakowa had sex in an eatery called Nobu. He has since paid her £3m after she gave birth to their child.

Becker has said: "It wasn't an affair. It was just poom-bah-boom!"

He said he had had a row with his wife Barbara, who was pregnant at the time, and decided to go out with friends after losing his Wimbledon tie.

Anna, his new daughter, has red hair and blue eyes. Becker was informed of her birth by fax from Russia.

He at first denied he was the father, but later accepted paternity.
