Premiership: Gunners kept van Bronckhorst sweating

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has revealed how Arsenal kept him sweating for two days while they checked on his fitness before he was finally able to join them from Rangers.

The Gunners wanted to make sure the Dutch midfielder had fully recovered from two groin injuries which wrecked his last season in Scotland, so he was left to wait in a hotel in London with his wife and father until a specialist finally gave him the all-clear this morning.
