Croatia challenge Ireland to international friendly

The Football Association of Ireland has announced that they have arranged a friendly tie against Croatia as part of their preparations for the two remaining World Cup qualifying games.

Croatia are currently ranked 19th in the world rankings and are believed to have approached Ireland about the fixture and Mick McCarthy was said to be delighted with the offer.
