Lions: Lions lose another player because of injury

The Scottish back row forward, Simon Taylor has become the latest player to cry off the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia because of injury.

The 21-year-old suffered ligament damage during the 116-10 defeat of Western Australia yesterday.

Taylor came on in the second half as a replacement and scored a try in the victory but will play no further part in the tour, although he will stay with the squad.

England’s Martin Corry has already been called up to the squad to act as cover, he is the second player that has had to be drafted in after Phil Greening’s injury seems to have given little chance of playing in the tour; Scotland’s Gordon Bulloch has also been called up to cover for Greening.
