GAA: Fitzgerald to start for Kerry in Tipp clash

Super-sub Maurice Fitzgerald will start for Kerry in their Munster Senior Football clash with Tipperary at Thurles on Sunday.

Super-sub Maurice Fitzgerald will start for Kerry in their Munster Senior Football clash with Tipperary at Clonmel on Sunday.

The forward, who was plagued by injury last year, did not start for the All-Ireland champions throughout their 2000 campaign.

Séamus Moynihan, last year's player of the year, leads his charges out on Sunday for the first defence of their title.

Notable faces on the bench include Noel Kenneally and Pa Laide.
