Ken Doherty took three consecutive frames in the Regal Scottish Open to pull ahead of Mark Davis following a shaky start for the Dubliner.

However, Davis, who knocked out tournament favourite Ronnie O'Sullivan, took the next frame to leave it at 3-3.

Meanwhile, in the other quarter-final this afternoon Peter Ebdon defeated Alan McManus by five frames to two.
