Snooker: Irish Masters semi-final tie

In the Irish Masters Snooker Tournament, being held in the Citywest complex in Dublin, the semi-final ties get under way today.

The matches, which will be decided in eleven frames, pit Mark Williams against Steven Hendry.

Ronnie O’Sullivan will play against Peter Ebdon, who yesterday defeated defending champion, John Higgins, by six frames to three.
