Golf: Woods clinches Players Championship

Tiger Woods held his nerve to secure his first victory in the Players Championship at Sawgrass, Florida.

He finished on 274, one stroke ahead of Fiji's Vijay Singh.

Bernhard Langer of Germany finished third after a final-round score of 67, two strokes behind Woods.

Woods had resumed with a one-stroke lead after rain had forced the tournament into a fifth day.
