All sport in Ireland is set to be suspended again following two confirmed cases of foot-and-mouth disease in Co Louth.

All soccer, GAA, rugby and motorsport had been wiped out since March 1st as a result of the British crisis.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern announced news of two positive cases at Jenkinstown, Co Louth to the Dáil around 10:30am this morning.
