Queen's Park Rangers have tabled a "substantial" bid for Shelbourne striker Richie Foran.

The Nationwide League First Division outfit have been tracking the eircom League star for a number of months, with Foran recommended to Ireland manager Mick McCarthy by Shels boss Dermot Keely.
