Disease puts racing prospects in the balance

Racing's immediate future in the face of the outbreak of foot and mouth disease remains in the balance following a meeting of racing's rulers.

Representatives of the British Horseracing Board, Jockey Club, racecourses, trainers and horse transporters were briefed by veterinary experts.
