Snooker: O'Brien faces Williams in semi-final

Fergal O’Brien last night defeated the world number five, Stephen Lee, to reach the semi-finals of the Malta Grand Prix.

In what was a close match, O’Brien eventually won by five frames to four.

He now plays the world number one, Mark Williams who defeated the local favourite Tony Drago, in today’s semi-final.

In the other semi-final Stephen Hendry will face John Higgins.
