Opposition try to stop plans for national stadium

Fine Gael will this evening attempt to get the Taoiseach to abandon plans for a national stadium.

Describing the project as "nonsensical", Fine Gael predicted the stadium would end up being the Irish equivalent of the Millennium Dome.
