Rugby: Robinson named in Sevens squad
Jason Robinson is the star attraction in the England squad for the Rugby World Cup Sevens which takes place between January 26-28 in Argentina.
The former rugby league winger, now with Sale Sharks, is among a host of Premiership talent named for the three day tournament in Mar Del Plata.
Pacy London Wasps full back Paul Sampson, Newcastle Falcons 20-year-old full back Michael Stephenson, England back-row Joe Worsley, Wasps wing Josh Lewsey, London Irish wing Paul Sackey and Gloucester wing Tom Beim are also named.
The competition takes place the same weekend as the European Cup and Shield quarter finals.
Bristol coach Dean Ryan has already hinted that his two Argentine, one English and one Welsh squad members may not be allowed to participate.
