Hartson move is still on hold
John Hartson is no closer to a move to Coventry, according to Wimbledon boss Terry Burton.
Hartson's proposed transfer to the Premiership side hinges on Wimbledon accepting a player-plus-cash deal for the Welsh international.
But Burton admitted that it is the agreement over which Coventry player joins the Dons that is stalling any possible deal.
Burton said: "It's to do with the player coming towards us rather than anything else.
"Either something will be resolved on that or Coventry will restructure their offer. Then there might be something possible but at the moment nothing is moving towards that."
Asked if Hartson would figure in his plans for the trip to Meadow Lane, Burton replied: "There's a possibility, but we'll just wait and see on that. He's training today.
"He's still a Wimbledon player until the moment he signs for somebody else."
