Morrision could soon be playing for Ireland

Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison could soon be a Republic of Ireland player.

The 21-year-old's grandmother, Mary Morrison, hails from Garretstown in north Co Dublin and he is a regular visitor to Ireland.

Morrison has bagged 16 goals so far this season with the First Division strugglers and has impressed Mick McCarthy.
