Double injury blow for United

Alex Ferguson has been hit by injuries to Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt just when he thought his treatment room was emptying.

The Manchester United manager has signed Scholes off for two weeks to recover from a rib injury, while Butt is struggling to be fit for tomorrow’s match at Bradford after taking a knock on his hip.
