Coventry manager Gordon Strachan hopes to complete the £5m signing of Welsh international John Hartson from Wimbledon by the weekend as he bids to cure his side's chronic lack of goalscoring.
Hartson will form an all-Welsh strike partnership with £6.5m club record signing Craig Bellamy after the Sky Blues made an improved offer for the 25-year-old.
