Anna Kournikova has been in tears - but not, she insisted, about the ending of her doubles partnership with Martina Hingis.

The 19-year-old Russian was questioned in Sydney today about the fact that she and world number one Hingis have decided to split after their ninth tournament win together at the Chase Championships in New York in November.
