Spackman unveiled as new Barnsley boss

Nigel Spackman has been confirmed as the new manager of First Division Barnsley.

The 40-year-old, who has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Tykes, takes charge at Oakwell following the resignation of Dave Bassett last month.
