Ginola back for Villa at Newcastle

Aston Villa have winger David Ginola back for the FA Cup third round tie at his former club Newcastle United.

The Frenchman returns to the side after missing the New Year's Day defeat against Chelsea when he was serving a one-match ban.

Midfielder Lee Hendrie is out, serving the second game of a three-match ban.

Turkish international defender Alpay, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring strain, is also suspended.

Meanwhile Newcastle United have no fresh injury worries.

Spanish central defender Marcelino could return to the squad after a groin injury, but midfielder Rob Lee (hamstring) and striker Kevin Gallacher (calf) remain on the casualty list alongside long-term absentees Alan Shearer (knee) and Carl Court (hamstring).
