Hockey: Cork Church of Ireland out to upset mighty Lisnagarvey

The Ulster side’s 19-game winning run came to an end last time out when they needed a late equaliser to snatch a draw with mid-table Three Rock Rovers, while C of I have won three on the bounce to lie just a point behind joint leaders Monkstown and ‘Garvey.
Neil Welch’s side are the joint top scorers with 17 strikes coming in those three victories over Pembroke, UCD and Railway Union, but they’ll need John Jermyn and Julian Dale at their sharpest to overturn the champions tomorrow.
