Ulster do the double as Thomas Mackle and Kelly Mallon win

While Mackle created history as the first Ulster player to retain the title, Kelly Mallon will be remembered as the winner of the best ever Global Catering Queen of the Roads final. She beat Dutch star Silke Tulk by a few metres in a breathtaking final.
Mackle beat a polished Ralf Look of Germany in the last shot of King of the Roads. Look pushed clear with his brilliant second to Moore’s gate and dominated right to the final quarter. He had good odds after five past the creamery and then beat the no-play line with a great sixth to extend his lead. He beat a series to great shots from Mackle to raise a bowl with a brilliant ninth to the top of the long straight.
