Isaac Westbrooks provides the cutting edge for Swords Thunder

Swords Thunder had to withstand a tremendous Killester second half comeback before eventually prevailing 91-86 in the Men’s Super League clash at Clontarf.

Thunder, inspired by Isaac Westbrooks and James Golsborough, played awesome basketball in the opening 20 minutes and deservedly commanded a 59-39 interval lead.

Killester responded and with veteran American Jermaine Turner and Keith Anderson finding their shooting range they posed the Swords defence all sorts of problems.
