Michael Conlan to seek Jason Quigley’s advice on potential move to America

World amateur champion Conlan is set to turn professional after failing to claim a second Olympic medal following his highly contentious quarter-final defeat to Russia’s Vladimir Nikitin in Rio.
The 24-year-old Falls Road fighter has not made a final decision on who he will sign professional terms with, but it is understood that Conlan has been approached by a number of US and UK promoters who are interested in securing his signature.
