John Jermyn making most of Ireland’s call for Olympics

John Jermyn is hopeful his performances in the last week will help him extend his out of office email notice beyond June 16 and deep into August.

The Cork C of I man has been the main bolter in the Irish senior men’s team in this first Olympic summer, returning to the panel in late February for the first time since 2012.

Since his comeback, he has scored twice in five caps to extend his record as the top goalscorer in Irish history.
