Is this the worst play in NFL history?

The basics of American football seemed to be completely lost on the Colts last night as they attempted a bizarre play against the Patriots.

Approaching the end of the third quarter, the Colts set up for a fake punt aimed to confuse the Patriot’s defence. And it did, for a split second.

Before the snap, all but two of the Colts ran to the right leaving just wide receiver Griff Whalen and safety Colt Anderson to run the snap. This is what it looked like:
