Ronda Rousey's mother would run over the UFC champ's coach with her car

"I would run over him with my car if there wasn’t a law against it."

Ronda Rousey’s mother, much like her daughter, doesn’t pull punches. AnnMaria De Mars, a former Judo champion, clearly has a low opinion of UFC Champion Rousey’s coach Edmond Tarverdyan, whom she claims treated her daughter poorly when she first went to train with him.

"I would run over him with my car if there wasn’t a law against it," De Mars told LatiNation in a video released yesterday.

In a similar video released on Tuesday, she claimed Tarverdyan had nothing to do with her daughter’s success.

"I think Edmond is a terrible coach and I will say it publicly," she said. "I think he’s a terrible coach. I think he hit the lottery when Ronda walked in there. She was winning before she ever met him. She probably won 99 percent of the judo matches she ever fought in."

Her hatred may stem from Tarverdyan’s apparent mistreatment of the currently undefeated Rousey when she first entered his gym.

"She was one of the top athletes in the world when she walked in there and he wouldn’t even give her the time of day for months," De Mars said.

De Mars is clearly not one to mince her words.

"I hate that guy," she said. "He’s like the most worthless human being God ever put on this Earth."

Undefeated champion and UFC icon Rousey is currently preparing to defend her title against Holly Holm in UFC 193 and is yet to comment on her mother’s outburst.
