The high-ticket gumshield is worth around $25,000.

In keeping with his ostentatious lifestyle and ‘Money’ nickname, Mayweather usually gets his mouthguards custom designed with gold flakes, diamonds or other garish detail.

Mayweather has topped the Forbes rich-list of the world’s highest-paid athletes three years running and has an estimated net worth of around $300 million. With pay-per-view demand for the Pacquiao fight set to reach five million views, the fight could rake in $300m for the fighters alone, with Mayweather set to take 60%.

Mayweather has frequently revelled in his extravagant wealth, once posting a video of himself online counting out a million dollars in 100-dollar bills. In 2013, an ESPN Magazine feature reported that Mayweather operated a single bank account for his personal business. At the time, it reportedly held $123 million.
