Simon Ryan pips aidí O’Brien to claim stunning Rás Luimní victory at Caherconlish

Simon Ryan claimed a sensational victory at Rás Luimní in Caherconlish, Limerick, yesterday.

The Mego Racing team rider pipped Paidí O’Brien (Osbourne Meats/McCarthy Cycles) who led in the remnants of the day’s breakaway at the end of the 120km race.

Both men had been part of the move that forged clear on the second of four laps and pulled six minutes clear of the main bunch.
