Adam McMullen’s bid for final comes up short at European Athletics Indoor Championships in Prague

The Crusaders athlete finished 16th in qualifying out of a field of 24 in the O2 Arena on his international debut with a best of 7.53m.

“It was interesting, it was definitely an experience,” said McMullen, who also jumped 7.50m and 7.19m. “It wasn’t the jumps I wanted but I’ll take everything I can from this and bring it to future international competitions. It’s nice to stay consistent on the boards, the 7.50s were quite good, something to work on.”
