Morrison wins world title

Cork’s Brian Morrison has secured gold at the Student Riders’ World Finals in Florida.

It is the second successive year Ireland has produced a world champion, with Peter O’Donnell coming out ahead of Morrison in 2014.

O’Donnell was also on the team that took silver at the weekend in the Gold League finals behind Britain. This ensured Ireland maintained its second place in the league standings behind Germany.
