Irish middleweight Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan believes a new approach to training and preparation has him stronger and sharper ahead of his grudge match with Dublin’s Anthony Fitzgerald.

The pair will face off at The 3 Arena Dublin on November 15 on the undercard of the Matthew Macklin v Jorge Sebastien Heiland bout.

The fight was originally scheduled for August, and O’Sullivan believes the extra time with his trainer Paschal Collins has been an opportunity to push him harder, both in and out of the ring.
