Silence is golden as Ennis lies in 10th spot

The Meath-based eventer was last to go of three Irish riders on day one of dressage and scored an impressive 48.5 penalties, after she and the bay gelding got lucky when first into the arena after a short break.
“He’s not mad about clapping, but I was fortunate there was a 10-minute break before I went in. I couldn’t believe my luck, it was so nice and peaceful,” said Ennis.
