Dunbar ‘over the moon’ after edging epic battle

The O’Leary’s Stone Kanturk CC rider had around the width of a tyre to spare over the Carrick on Suir youngster at the end of an absolutely leg-breaking day in strong winds, warm temperatures, a punishing circuit and over three hours in the saddle.
Dunbar and O’Loughlin had been in the day’s five-man breakaway that formed around the midway point of the 106 kilometre race, with Seamus Sinnott (Wexford Wheelers CC), Jamie Blanchfield (Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers) and Dermot White (Staggs Lucan CC) the other three.
