McCabe continues fantastic run

TENNIS: Ireland’s Conor McCabe yesterday continued his tremendous run in the Tennis Europe Under-14 Circuit event in Dublin.

Participating in the second round of the boys’ singles at the National Tennic Centre in Glasnevin, McCabe, made it four wins on the trot against overseas opponents when he ended the title hopes of the No 5 seed, Germany’s Oliver Tobisch.

McCabe has now secured a place in the quarter-finals, but he faces a massive task to make the last four stage,
