‘Every euro accounted for’ in HSI draft budget

Horse Sport Ireland chairman Pat Wall yesterday agreed the governing body should be transparent, conceding he had no issue with a detailed breakdown of its draft budget being made public.

The Irish Examiner has a copy of the draft budget, dated March 12, which can be read below. It outlines income and spending in detail, with Mr Wall admitting it had changed little in the interim.

Mr Wall said: “I have no problem with the figures being made public. The budget may have changed slightly [since March]... but in broad terms it has not changed. It is important to realise we have a finite amount of money with competing priorities.
