Olazabal: Garcia needs to feel love

Usually in golf, the numbers 64 and 62 represent a brilliant day on the course and a score to be cherished. But when those figures are the number of major championships you have played without a victory, that is not the case.

Unfortunately for European fans, those numbers belong to Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia, who have been trying since 1994 and 1999 respectively (as professionals) to claim one of the game’s four biggest prizes.

Both men have come close on several occasions, but the good news for Garcia at least is that two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal has every faith that his fellow Spaniard will eventually get the job done.
