Tuned in’ Killester keep pressure on UCC in title race

Killester had little trouble accounting for Dublin rivals DCU Saints 84-71 in a disappointing game at Clontarf.

The Clontarf side held a 50-36 interval lead and increased it to 20 midway through the third quarter.

Coming down the stretch Killester coach Jonathan Grennell could afford to use various rotations such was his side’s dominance Grennell said: “We knew coming into the game we would have to be tuned in early doors and all my players did very well. DCU Saints have always troubled us over the years but my players knew defeat was out of question if we were to keep pressure on UCC Demons in the title race.”
