Ballindenisk’s stature continues to grow

The flags of five countries will fly at Ballindenisk Horse Trials next week, as the Cork venue continues to build on its stature.

As well as the pre-eminent Irish riders, 35 competitors will travel from overseas, with Britain, France, New Zealand and the US represented at the event on April 20-22.

“We are thrilled with the interest,” said event director Peter Fell. “We definitely weren’t expecting this number of foreign riders. I’d like to think our reputation is growing on the back of a number of good competitions in the past few years. In total, we have 180 entries, which is up substantially on last year.”
