John Joe star attraction in Garda-Rylane show

John Joe Joyce tops the bill when the Rylane and An Garda Síochána Boxing clubs display their talents at Cork’s Rochestown Park Hotel on Saturday night (8pm).

Exciting welterweight Joyce will represent the Gardaí when he faces highly rated Polish fighter Karol Ozimkowski, while his brother David meets Simon Lewis in the light heavyweight category.

Rylane boxers on the night will include Jordan Dalton (46kg), Sean Óg O’Connor (58kg), Adrian Looney (64kg); Dean Desmond (middleweight); Kieran Twohig (middleweight) and Donal Óg O’Leary (cruiserweight). Daniel Lane (heavyweight) and Finbarr Murphy (Sunnnyside BC) will also feature against an impressive English team of fighters.
