Let’s start building for Rio now

Olympic bronze medallist Cian O’Connor says it is important to build on the success of London so we can plan for medals in four years time in Rio de Janeiro.

“A lot of work can be done to put in place support structures for the riders in the same way the British did to achieve team success at Olympic level,” said O’Connor, who had praise for Ireland team manager Robert Splaine.

“I am extremely happy with the support from manager Robert, both during the season and at the Olympics.
