HSI ask Olympic Council to pause Lynch’s ratification

Horse Sport Ireland has asked the Olympic Council of Ireland to pause the ratification of Denis Lynch to represent Ireland at the Olympic Games in London after Lynch’s mount Lantinus was prevented from competing for the remainder of an event in Aachen this weekend.

Officials in Germany found Lantinus to be suffering from sore feet and hypersensitive following Thursday night’s Nation Cup competition.

Lynch and Lantinus racked up four faults in their first round and eight in their second round as Ireland finished third.
