Fog delays tournament

The European Olympic boxing qualifying tournament which was due to start today has had to be put back until tomorrow due to fog enveloping the Black Sea city of Trabzon.

The decision was taken last night when 97 boxers from 18 nations as well as 16 referees and judges were stranded when the fog closed the airport.

It is still hoped to complete the tournament inside the next week.
