National meeting goes weekend

The Executive Committee of the Irish Coursing Club decided at its executive meeting yesterday, to change the format for next year’s National Meeting in Clonmel.

Following this year’s event, the committee took feedback from the coursing public and have elected to stage the biggest coursing event in the calendar on Saturday February 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th, 2013 with over €180,000 in prize money.

The move is designed to accommodate the many coursing supporters that were unable to attend under the previous format due to work or college/school commitments.
