Punters shouldn’t expect Easter presents

Punters didn’t have things easy in the opening round of the College Causeway/ Killahan Phanter Easter Cup and they can expect more of the same at Shelbourne Park this evening.

Fastest opening-round winner Tyrur Willyjoe bids to continue his winning ways in the first heat, although his task is less than straightforward with Loughteen Blanco, Royal Patrol, Razldazl Will, Subway Gerry and Slippery Patch in opposition.

He may start favourite, but be warned that if he fails to lead around the turn, he could struggle to get a clear passage with Loughteen Blanco and Royal Patrol drawn on his inside.
