Victorious Frampton targets Quigg

Frampton put an end to the fight in the second round in Sheffield, and the Irishman will now be looking for a British, European or world title fight.

European champion Kiko Martinez and British champion Scott Quigg have been talked about as Frampton’s next possible opponents.

Frampton, managed by Barry McGuigan, wants Quigg next: “I don’t know if Quigg wants it but, if he does, he should tell his promoter,” he said.

Frampton’s first defence of the Commonwealth title was against Scotland’s Kris Hughes in January.
