Irish pair star in Miami

Peter O’Leary and David Burrows, the Irish Star duo, were the first from Team Ireland to qualify for tomorrow’s Medal Races at the Rolex Miami OCR.

Conditions were not as favourable on Biscayne Bay as on previous days but the pair came second and third in their two races to qualify comfortably in sixth place overall.

Next to qualify was 21-year-old Annalise Murphy after she won her second race of the day, having finished eighth earlier. She moved up to seventh overall in the fleet of 60 Laser Radials and earns her place in tomorrow’s Medal Race.
