Call the one to beat in Oaks

THE Denis O’Driscoll trained Let Me Call was impressive in both her outings in the Oaks Trial Stake at the Macroom meeting (at Blarney) yesterday, winning both times by wide margins, and looks the one to beat at today’s concluding stage.

The top of the draw looks more open but Any Time looks the percentage bet to advance to a final meeting with Let Me Call.

The Reserve Derby Trial Stake looks up for grabs after yesterday’s two rounds and a tentative pair against the field are Breaking Time and Boomtown Paddy.
