TIM TEBOW collected a cool quarter of a million dollars for his part in the Denver Broncos playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The unorthodox quarterback sent Twitter and YouTube into meltdown when he completed an 80-yard game-winning pass on Monday morning but he also collected a handsome profit.

The devout christian had a $250,000 (€196,000) bonus for a playoff win written into his contract. “Tebow has an escalator of $250,000 in his contract for each playoff win and 70% playtime during the requisite season,” announced ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“Being that he played 73% of the plays this season, Tebow cashed in on a quarter-million salary escalator for Sunday’s 29-23 overtime victory and could earn another $250,000 with another victory on Saturday night at New England against the Patriots.”
